Alejandro McCormack

Co-founder of Ábaco

Salvadoran entrepreneur with extensive experience in fintech. He worked as a Product Manager at N26, Germany's first fully digital bank, and later led market expansion at Raisin, a fintech "unicorn." In 2022, he returned to El Salvador to lead N1CO, the region's first neobank, focusing on transforming traditional banking with technology and customer-centric solutions.

In 2023, McCormack co-founded Ábaco, a Salvadoran fintech providing fast, digital liquidity solutions for MSMEs in Central America. Ábaco has facilitated over $20 million in loans, implemented an advanced risk engine for same-day credit approvals, and secured $4 million in pre-seed funding. McCormack envisions expanding Ábaco across the region, developing financial products to democratize credit access and empower MSMEs to reach their full growth potential.
